Wabi sabi is a Japanese aesthetic that is a celebration of the beauty, harmony and authenticiy of the imperfect, mundane or often overlooked. Contrary to the fanatical pursuit of image "sharpness" with traditional forms and tools of photograpny, iPhoneography itself may be considered a medium of expression of those very same wabi sabi values.
